The only way I see the state going red is if there is some kind of black swan event that causes a complete and sudden shift in politics.
Basically something along the lines of a tsunami hitting big coastal cities like San Fran and LA, leaving the inland empire intact.

You do realize environmentalists and population control advocates indiscriminately hope for this(except for themselves) all the time. Its the only way to accomplish they're goal.

OMG traffic in L.A. right now if the 405 Is closed!

All these fires they are having out there - are these forests being managed as "let mother nature take care of her own business" or are the forests being managed by man in order to cut down on the number of fires, controlled burns and that kind of thing?
From what I understand, in California they do not do controlled burns and underbrush management or they do very little of it because of the environmentalists. It's why they have so many wildfires during the dry season and then because of the lack of vegetation during the wet season, they have all of those mud slide events.

Probably still less traffic than they have for an Obama fundraiser at some Hollywood honcho’s place.

That is a horrifying picture. I pray they can get that under control.

Wtf is wrong with some of you people?
It is why I like these threads. It is easy to see who the truly horrible people are on this board.

Environmentalists are one possible cause of the fires, this is another:
New Al Qaeda magazine describes in detail how to start huge forest fires across the U.S.

I feel bad for the animals caught in these things. For Californians, not so much.

Stop being so islamaphobic, shitlord. They are peaceful people. They would never start Forrest fires in a state that is proud to call them friends.

The thread was not started by someone celebrating the burning of California. Why don't you be a man or a woman and call out those individuals that are making you sad.

Where in the OP's post does he insinuate celebrating? Looks to me he's rather aghast about the situation.

Coming from you, that's a bit ironic.
