@Dalzell60
Heard from reliable colleague that senior Hill Republicans briefed by Mattis, McMaster, etc., believe Trump will order limited strike on NK.

Just to be clear, the impression received by Hill Republicans is just that, an impression, not confirmation of a Trump decision to act.

The person said that many military options were being very seriously considered, not that a decision had been made to launch a strike on NK.

I'm fairly certain I was in the same meeting and that is a mischaracterization of what was said.

OP, Please fix your thread title, there is no breaking news. ETA: Even left wing guy took it back.

Information flies around very quickly in this DC environment and I was too quick to Tweet. Again, my apologies. I have learned a lesson!

My apologies to all. I have mischaracterized the information conveyed to me. I withdraw the original Tweet.

Destroy all military installations, missile building sites and launching facilities.

Destroy Naval bases and naval vessels in and out of their ports.

Destroy all power generating plants and fuel supplies, destroy the governmental headquarters, destroy his personal quarters and those of all military forces.

That is about a limited as I would want to go

No limited strikes on NK. I hope war doesn't happen. US has no good options.

If that is in fact true, they should be hung for leaking it. If it is not true, they should be hung for leaking that falsehood in order to direct foreign policy while jeopardizing Americas national security.

I won't believe it until it actually happens. Too much fake news from "sauces" these days.
