Congress should not have ceded that power over time. They'll never get it back, and honestly, I don't think they should.

Grassley needs to retire. Maybe we can get rid of ethanol mandates soon afterwards

Be nice to Rand. I still like him.

What has he actually done lately other than the Breonna Tayler no knock thing?

Saying words about things doesn't count as doing anything.

Tariffs are flushing the RINOs back into the open

Every one of them needs to be primaried

That's one way to look at it, and maybe they do need to all be primaried, but you know what?

They won't be.

So what's happening is that Trump is overplaying his hand to the point that Congress is acting to officially check him down.

You realize that description includes Trump, yeah?

Better hope so, they seem motivated on this one.

Congress was foolish to give up this power in the first place. I would applaud this return to constitutional order.

I agree. We should put all of our trust in one person!

Including cuck Rand with the pubes on his head

The Rand and Massie philosophy is to do nothing on unfair trade nor border security while working class Americans get screwed by DC.

Wow. It's nice to see that they are capable of getting together and work as a team to attempt to pass legislation.

Now that we know they understand their roles, it makes the last 20 years laughable as they sat back and did nothing to control:

The US involvement in conflicts/wars
The hemorrhaging of taxpayer cash to NGOs, foreign nations
And more recently, refusing to get off their asses and codify any Trump executive orders.

But tariffs>? Oh hell yeah, they can't have anyone messing around with tariffs without their approval.
