You can't be serious. It's a baseball cap.

I agree, but with the amount of folks moving from New York and New Jersey to the south, to escape the things they likely voted for, how’s one not to assume you’re a lib?

I bet if you saw me rocking a swastika hat, you think I’m a Nazi, rather than paying homage to the Roman Empire or Aryan Hindus.

I've lived down here for the better part of thirty years now, the wife is from here. Also been a Yankees fan since Thurman Munson and Reggie Jackson. Thinking I'm a liberal because of a hat is a you problem, not a me problem. How often do you wear your Nazi gear? Not quite the same as a Yankees cap, is it? Love your mustache, ya weirdo.

Oh youre old, Disregard my entire stance - you’re grandfathered in (pun intended). I apologize

Also…go Sox. Cuse sucks too, especially at football. But that’s for a different board

At minimum, I assume they are wearing NY Yankees hat.

If I want to go out on a limb I’ll assume they are a Yankees fan.

Nothing more.

Not that old, Gen X, rooted for the Yankees since I was a kid. You’re a Red Sox fan, which explains why you hate the Yankees and wear Nazi gear. Hopefully Fran Brown gets the Orange turned around this year. Our qb tore his acl last season and his LSU transfer back-up was terrible.

Sorry to break it to you…you’re old. You’re from a different time and era. It’s not a bad thing, it’s just a socio-political fact

It’s a new day in the south and it certainly isn’t a good one. You’re being replaced at a 2-1 ratio with disgusting, liberal, New Yorkers. Jackson probably already votes left, but it won’t be long until your entire state does.

So back to the point - yes; 2-1 Yankee hat wearers are liberal. Congrats on being part of the 1. Please convince your brethren to change their ways, I’m trying to convert my Nazi dumb arse south Boston brethren over here

I can't stand the yankme's but REAL yankme fans are conservative. Only the wanna be's, frontrunner, hipster bunch wear the NY to make you think they have somekind of connection to Brooklyn or Staten Island (like that's somekind of flex). annoying

It’s a fashion symbol for black and Hispanic folks, some of which probably don’t even know what NY stands for

This is true in the Caribbean, Id say the majority think its just a symbol of NYC. And of the sports gear I see people wearing from the states, it is by far the most popular.

I heard a DJ on the radio ask this question "If a Trinidadian happens to mention a state in the United States, what state would they most likely mention?"

Everyone calling in said NY, DJ said its not NY, people calling in saying he was an idiot, etc. He finally said okay Ill give you the answer, when a Trini mentions a state in the US they overwhelmingly mention.......Kentucky.

Alright, Asti Spumante, you seem awfully judgmental and condescending about a lot of things. Try not being an a-hole to people you don’t know, in life and on the internet.

not to give this dumbass thread any validity, but in my mind, a yankees hat is more liberal coded than a Sox hat

Nah. The sports fans tend to skew conservative.

I think it depends on the sport. I know soccer fans are more on the lib side when compared to NFL fans.
