Yea it was Chris Murphy and Democrats who met with him right before the White House appearance.
Then Chris Murphy made all the rounds on the Sunday talk shows and repeated all the Democrat talking points: Trump is a Russian agent, the White House is a Russian op, etc.
If Zelenskyy took advice from Chris Murphy and the Democrats then that would be ridiculously stupid of him.
Moreover, I don't respect Chris Murphy as being capable of leading anything, even sabotage.
I want to know who Chris Murphy and the Democrats took their instructions from, that's the key question.

Of course, Rubio still remains an Israel hawk so my impression of Rubio’s political transformation comes with that caveat. But yeah.
Along with Rand Paul, Rubio consistently was one of the more sensible voices on providing unfettered aid to the Ukraine in the Senate. And this was long before it was even certain that Donald Trump would even secure the GOP nomination so this leads me believe this transformation may be deeper than mere political expediency.

He was Trump's first cabinet pick right out of the gate. I loved it because Rubio brings a certain gravitas to the position...in stark contrast to Rex Tillerson, who had no diplomatic experience. I thought it was a genius pick by Trump, because Rubio was always going to be a unanimous confirmation in the Senate. No Democrat could say a single negative thing about him, without looking like idiots. That was a good way to kick off the confirmations. But then again, unlike others, I've always liked Rubio., so nothing about his performance so far has surprised me.
