The opposite. Yes, there are a lot of out of state students, but they are mostly conservative looking to leave their cesspools.
Its not 100% conservative, and academia attracts a certain amount of liberalism in faculty and staff, but there will not be mass protest for firing this evil woman.

Yes
From my time there I'd say the leading states was Texas and Georgia. They always explained to me that they wanted to go to a "party school" but it's actually pretty difficult to get into UGA or Texas so Ole Miss was the next best thing. Louisiana was actually prolly third most
Obviously this is just my anecdotal experience but I wouldn't describe hardly any of those ppl I met as liberal but I'm sure there were a few

It’s pretty liberal but it’s not nearly as liberal as it was between the mid 2000’s-2016. That’s the student body was voting for statutes to be moved and the chancellor was listening to them like they were an actual governing body with power.
Our new Chancellor (even though he basically installed himself after being the head of the committee to find a new chancellor), has turned out to be a blessing in disguise. He has basically told the ASB to shut the frick up and they won’t be listened to anymore

Oxford city is a haven for self-described "intellectuals" that are flaming wokd beta men and liberal women. John T Edge and Wright Thompson for example. She's already been fired and Kappa Delta at Mississippi State already put out a statement that the member who posted something is facing standards and it will not be tolerated (she's being kicked out, but we have a process)

As a State fan I applaud Ole Miss Chancellor Boyce or making a stand in firing this woman. Its crazy a state employee thinks they can say whatever they want with zero accountability. I guess she found out.
