I’ve had a theory all along that it was someone bringing Hunter his coke and he brought it in and left it for him to pick up in the cubbie but Hunter didn’t get it in time.
As is, the man lives on the beach in California. It would be much easier for him to just collect his coke off-premises.
But, again, reasonable theory in the abstract.

That has been my belief with the "jogger" Ahmaud Arbery in South Georgia.
It still stuns me that "Senator" Frankenstein Fetterman did the same thing to a legit black runner. His only saving grace is that the jogger didn't grab the barrel of the shotgun and pull it towards him while Fett had his finger on the trigger.
