I suppose I just have a nasty imagination, but I think the timing AFTER that dog and pony show was simply to delay the report until after the election, and if the wrong people win it will just get buried and we’ll never see it.
After all, if it was going to be 60 days with that idiot in charge, we’ll have the delay in appointing someone else, then their “settling in” period it’s going to be at a minimum next year before it might be ready.
A decent analysis could have been completed in a week. And that’s being kind.

If the Democrats were smart, they would’ve had Kamala (acting as Joe’s designee) fire this bitch. She could’ve made some statement about everyone being held accountable. This would’ve helped them because we all know that no Democrat is ever fricking held accountable. Not one person was fired over Afghanistan.
