She wasn't the problem. Her hands have been tied by the mayor and city council. She deserves better and will hopefully land in a better situation.

They are cutting 100 of 1,400 cops. That doesn’t seem too drastic but I wonder how many if the remaining 1,300 stay with the pay cut.

Yea but that 285k salary was bloated. Looking at the other big cities she’s making about 60k more than bigger cities or the same as some bigger cities.
Plus she’s not doing a great job (which is 100% to blame on their politics) I feel like Seattle will look like some post apocalyptic movie scene in about 2mos after these budget cuts
