Looks to me like Kagan will at least focus on the law as a basis for her decision sometimes. OTOH, Sotomayor was an extremist who was 100% a political pick by Obama.
That being said, I'll be glad when both of them are gone, along with Breyer and RBG.

Do you support abortion rights? Then by definition you also support confiscation of firearms, prohibition of internal combustion and nationalization of heavy industry. How can it be otherwise?

It appears that the Supreme Court said that the ban can stay in effect, nationally, while the cases proceed through the court systems.
I am guessing that judge tigger fast tracks this case to get an opinion out there that Trump cannot do what he did. That ruling then gets appealed to the 9th and we know they will "slow track" that case until well after the election.
That is my prediction.

Kagan was exponentially more qualified to serve on the Supreme Court than Sotomayor.
There is no prerequisite that one needs to be an Appellate Judge prior to sitting in the Supreme Court.
Sotomayor is probably the least competent Justice is SCOTUS history.

How hard is it to get the Supreme Court to rule only the Supreme Court can stay an executive order and not a district judge ? Thought C Thomas was on this
