Seems like they all have their misquotes down and blame Kavanaugh in an attempt to catch him with some gotcha shite. Forget the one a few hours ago who kept talking over him and basically rephrased his remarks to ask the same thing repeatedly.

Kamala Harris had the second-most insufferable line of questioning. She kept saying “it’s a simple question”...well all of her questions were simple, but they were either a) impossible to answer or b) required a more complex answer. These people just want their YouTube clips. He is so impressive to maintain his composure through all of this.

But she couldn’t maintain it. Her attitude changed the longer he spoke. Either she realized it wasn’t working or he just wore her down. He did a great job.
And I had to go back and watch the end of the Booker questioning. Wow. Kav shut him down with his actions promoting blacks in law school. I guarantee he has done more for them, as an individual, than Booker has.

Done and voted out on the floor before 9/24. Unless, the Democrats go full on moron, Grassley pulls the plug, McConnell runs it through SOONER and it is literally next week (w/4 Demo votes and unanimity w/Rs). Just sayin’.

That’s exactly what they want. They are wanting that “gotcha” moment.
They want it to be
“Do you believe in the second amendment even if it puts school kids lives at risk yes or no.” Then they badger him for trying to explain. They want him to say yes to the second admendment but so they can show the clip of him “not caring” about school kids lives.
They are sickening and if he would have been nominated a decade ago he would have received 90+ votes in confirmation

Point of information: CSPAN shows that they are starting coverage at 9:22 this morning. I'm not sure if that's when the actual hearings will resume though.

Know I am beating a dead horse but Harris is such lowlife. Why does she always and I mean always rude and condescending to the person they are questioning. John Kelly got close but would love for one of these people to fight it out with her and make her crawl back under that rock.

I’m pretty sure the hearings start this morning at 9:30 AM EST (8:30 AM CST), and rounds will be 20 minutes long today, as opposed to the 30 minute rounds yesterday.

I will say that I think that the republicans did a good job of refuting pretty much every line of questioning the dems chose to pursue, and they are to be commended for that.
