Grassley is no fool, he’s letting this go on as scheduled so they can keep showing their asses and so they don’t catch shite when some Dem inevitably cries foul for clearing it later on.
You know as soon as he did there would be a million REEEEEEEs ranging from “they’re trying to silence the left!” to “they’re obviously trying to hide something from us!” It’s a no-win situation but he’s choosing the best path so far.
