There is no questioning POTUS’ authority in regards to this. If the roles were reversed with Biden in Trump’s shoes, I believe we would all accept it.

You are being deceptive. Everyone knows Trump could declassify documents when he was President. But he didn't. So the questions become:
1. Can he declassify documents after he was President? Answer: No.
2. Can he declassify documents, while he was President, simply by thinking it? Answer: No.
Therefore, he was illegally in possession of classified documents. This is obviously true. Now, what of it? Is it a big deal? I don't think so. He has no motive for it. No big windfall to be had. I think the reason they raided him is to push forward his candidacy. They know he is easily beatable, even with Sleepy Joe. And the Democrats have been pursuing that strategy all election season: crossing the aisle to vote for MAGA candidates, over more moderate ones, because they know the MAGA candidates will scare the white women into the Democratic tent. The raid caused the right to rally around Trump just when he needed a push.

I'll ad this memo to the DOJ to the mix for evidence of declassification:
Furthermore, John Ratcliff in this interview with Maria Bartiromo said the MAL docs were declassified. LINK
He should know, John Ratcliff was the Director of National Intelligence.
But I'm still curious about these constitutionally required class/declassification rules and procedures the CiC forced to follow. Please provide them. If you do I'm sure it would clear up a lot of this dispute.

No he was not.
Former Presidents do not have the power to classify or declassify but they do have Executive Privilege which allows them the view and or possess classified material up to the the last level of security clearance they previously had and as president that is the highest level.

Those memoranda prove the point. HE, AS PRESIDENT, is declassifying documents for OTHERS to make use of. He's not binding his ARTICLE TWO powers with these memoranda.

Not really. Someone floated that Trump had nuclear codes and top secret nuclear intelligence and was trying to sell it to Russia and the DU and Daily Kos cucks bought every single bit of it.
You have to remember that people with TDS are so blinded with madness that they can't figure out the people telling them Trump had unauthorized documents in his possession, illegally, are the very same people that old them Trump colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election.
The irony is the documents Trump possessed are the one's that detail every person involved in the LIE called Russian Collusion and those people are scared shitless that information will get made public.

If the Trump Maralago case ever gets to Supreme Court the same ruling will apply. It is unprecedented because the FBI was never so weaponized to go after political opponents of the illegitimate president who only seeks to destroy this country!
