Putin stated exactly why Russia is in Ukraine. He laid out his concerns consistently for two decades. Most in the US are unaware of those concerns or of his repeated admonitions targeting NATO aggressiveness because the press stopped doing its job. But, there is not a chance in hell of Putin attacking an existing NATO country.

that's ok. in a few years we will be fighting a war in our own country. it will be the democrats against the rest of the country. Im with the rest of the country and Im prepared.

Probably a few post office namings and a few bridges to nowhere wrangle up a few more votes. See Mary Landrieu in Obamacare bill that sent 300 million for 3 years to the state.
Why any bill or issue needs to get wrapped up in NYC phone book sized bill is beyond me. Congress should implement smaller bills of no more than 25 pages.
