This is stupid, it's not affecting his religious beliefs by calling them the name they want to be called. frick him, just call them by the names they want.

Nah, frick that. First, compelled speech is bullshite and goes directly against the First Amendment. Second, in this case, it's compelled speech that is objectively false. That's some real totalitarian nonsense.

He has the constitutional right to call them whatever name he decides is appropriate for the situation especially if he just calls them by their last name since that is not calling them something derogatory.

Probably more to this story, but on the surface it does sound completely absurd. I seriously doubt you could get fired for calling someone by their actual name.
