The silence of the left wingers in here about this speaks volumes

An alarming amount of famous people, political and industrial leaders are PDF files. That’s why they want the view on it softened. They are pure evil and $.25 can fix that problem…maybe more depending on what caliber you prefer.
frick these people.
frick these people.

The left wanting to frick kids has been a meme since before memes even existed. I wouldnt be shocked if the post modernists sole goal was to try to get a way to rape a kid legally.

I’ll accept the orientation part, as it’s a meaningless tautology. And I’ll even go so far as to merely switch “accepted” with “buried with an IV and only their honey-covered heads above grade to be slowly devoured by ants.”

Just another word to be tossed on the meaningless pile with so many others. Find the info yourself or from an actual person in the field you trust.

Are ANY of our liberal progressive folks here going to come in a defend the "scholars" in the OP... are are none of even them that depraved?
I'm not a progressive (3 time Trump voter) but it's very clear what the people in that video are saying. Pedophilia is a sexual preference, and we don't/can't choose our sexual preferences.
The OPs title is incorrect. They weren't saying that pedophilia should be accepted, they're saying that society should accept that pedophilia is a sexual preference. That much is true.
For the record, I'm for executions on the first offense. I feel sorry for pedophiles, thankfully my c or d cup fetish doesn't pose any moral concerns.

If its a sexual preference than robbing your home is my preference regarding line of work. It is a sickness, a pathological defect, not a preferred option.

Most pedophiles are criminals of opportunity and kids are easy prey.
Some were raped as children, so their sexual values are fricked up.

I only looked up the TedX speaker, and she specifically is talking about preventing child abuse, not defending it.
This is a topic most people are too primed to discuss.

An independently organized TEDx event recently posted, and subsequently removed, a talk from the TEDx YouTube channel that the event organizer titled: “Why our perception of pedophilia has to change.”
After reviewing the talk, we believe it cites research in ways that are open to serious misinterpretation. This led some viewers to interpret the talk as an argument in favor of an illegal and harmful practice. TED would like to make clear that it does not promote pedophilia.
In the TEDx talk, a speaker described pedophilia as a condition some people are born with, and suggested that if we recognize it as such, we can do more to prevent those people from acting on their instincts and harming children. This field of science is developing, and the definition of the condition is just one of many points that are in debate across the global scientific community (and even in standard reference works).
While there is much debate around this field, scholars in the field are united in their wish to keep children from coming to harm — as the speaker makes clear in her own talk, saying “Let me be very clear here. Abusing children is wrong without any doubt.”
I wonder why the person who created the video in OP didn't include the bolded parts?

Its 100% their own fault.
