I’ve been saying it for years on here that the bipartisan support for open borders is largely due to Social Security.
SS cannot survive without an ever-increasing population. Just like any other ponzi scheme. And politicians cannot survive any cut to Social Security.
Every politician in DC has a (political) life-or-death interest in seeing open borders and mass immigration continuing.
