Onky about 20% of the country gets it. Republicans that voted for Cruz, Rubio and Jeb are just as fricking stupid as democrats that voted for Hillary. Trump and Carson were the only two real choices for cbange and washington would have eaten Ben Carson alive.
Cruz called the senate majority leader, Mitch McConnell, a LIAR to his face in front of everyone on the senate floor.
He’s not one of the swampers

I was very pro-Cruz in the primaries and I still believe he would have made an outstanding president.
However, had Ted won the nomination he would never have made it to the white house. Of the 17 candidates for the republican nomination, only Donald Trump could have defeated the witch.
In the end, I'm glad by choice didn't prevail but that doesn't diminish by estimation of Ted Cruz in any way.

I know right, what part of "God Damn America US of KKK !" coming from his preacher did some people not understand?
That's not even mentioning that he was a community organizing harvard lawyer from chicago! But still it all fell on deaf ears.
Though if we are all honest in hindsight would McCain or Romney been any better?

You're wrong on Cruz.
yeah. cruz is a giant douche nozzle, but he says the right things and has the votes to back it up. he also doesn't back down as quickly as somebody like Rubio.
if the primary was today, i'd vote for him over trump again.... but mind you, i have no qualms with how it turned out in 2016.

Perhaps their nominees for SCOTUS would have been more center to right than the left-leaning women obama installed.
Probably neither would have used government agencies to attack political enemies.
Yea, they would have been better but not what we wanted or needed.

He fooled a lot of people in 2008. I know quite a few of conservatives that voted for him then but his true colors were slowly revealed.

I don't know a single regular GOP voter who ever voted for Obama. If you did, it wasn't because he tried to fool you into thinking he was conservative.

That’s what happens when you have a complicit media running cover for you.

He tricked me in 2008. Partly because I don't like McCain, partly because I was not a W fan for his last term and was frustrated with the Republican party, and partly because I believed in what he said was his vision and hope for America. I was also young.
I was happy with my choice for about a year, but with Obamacare and the way the Dems shoved that down our throats, I was done.
I don't expect I'll vote Democrat again for a long time.

Although Rand isn't Ron he was still far and away the best choice for President. We need to follow the Constitution, it's that simple. I vote for whichever candidate will uphold the Constitution closest to the way I interpret it, I don't care what letter is by their name. The problem with a Trump candidacy/presidency he seems to think he is more powerful than the constitution. I voted for Trump and probably will again unless a true Jeffersonian constitutionalist runs

Carson needs to stick to medicine. Dude is a friggin weirdo. He seems nice, but there's something definitely off with him. I mean, who has this damn thing hanging in their house? I'd vote against him soley based on that.

It’s sad to look back on the last eight, sixteen, who knows how far back in years and realize what a waste they were politically.
I try to thank God everyday for the impatience of the Democratic Party. If not for their impatience to nominate an unknown black man for president, we would have had HER for eight years and then HIM for another eight years.

Though I understand your thread title, no, over half of the US never voted for Obama in either election.
