Saying whether you should have a gas stove or not exemplifies everything wrong in politics

When the federal government was established, it had minimalist objectives to keep society civil. They didn’t try and encroach into every aspect of private life, and left the bigger matters for the states to decide.
Now, with the behemoth our federal government has become, they feel simple tasks like owning or buying a gas stove is under the umbrella of federal control.
Not only that, it doesn’t take a consensus of federal politicians to initiate the process of overreach, but just one busybody to mess everything up.
It isn’t enough to try and force Americans to buy electric cars nobody wants, now they have to force electric stoves on all of us!
It will never end.

Yep, just like saying you can't have incandescent light bulbs.
...or an AR-15 for that matter.

To the WEF, who's driving this particular policy bus, this is a feature not a bug.

Can’t buy a working gas can
Smoking age moved to 21 with no real argument
There are hundreds of examples they’ve got away with, so of course they keep pushing

It's an incredible study in propaganda. Two weeks ago no one gave it a thought. Now suddenly, every Leftist in america is an expert on combustion and indoor air quality.

I'm pretty sure the very same bastards who are pushing for this nonsense legislation own $15,000 Wolf/Viking/Thermador professional-grade gas ranges and have no intent of replacing them with equally expensive induction range tops.

All of these decisions are about control.

1/3 of America wants to be told what to do
1/3 of America won’t tolerate being told what to do
1/3 of America is too busy on their phone and didn’t hear the question

My next home build is going to have gas water heat, gas furnace, gas stove, and gas logs.
That was not the plan till they ran Nat Gas out there. After that, I’m all in.
If I freaking have to buy the appliances in advance… I’ll buy them in advance. Then put them in storage.

This is a prime example of WEF's "multi-national corporations" concept - i.e. companies literally in bed with these Globalist commie bastards.

Just BS to get the public looking..."over there".

This is a bold statement given everything we've witnessed over the past few years, but this Gas Stove thing may very well be the clearest example of NPC downloading information to regurgitate in real time that we've seen.
Now suddenly it's an absolute no brainer that gas stoves are bringing down society and to merely suggest differently makes you a troglodyte.

The cost of getting rid of gas stoves would be astronomical. This is maybe a policy you may look at when times are very good, times of great prosperity in which environmental concerns are the most pressing matters. We aren’t there, and never will be because we are blowing our loads on electric cars, new windows and abandoning natural gas infrastructure. We have never let the environmental needs steer the policy. Inflation is not slowing down any time soon and the environment is not less threatened than it was 10-15 years ago.

Has the federal government actually tried to make any rules about gas stoves? Or is this just the latest faux news boogie man that people are up in arms about? Keep the people pissed off over little things and they will ignore the big ones.

It’s pretty crazy to see them in unison spouting the same bullshite.
No original thought whatsoever with that group.

Not sure but your local areas def have.
So like California. New Orleans is pushing to the no gas no fossil fuel use whatsoever. A city only ran on renewables. Why else you think Teedy needs to fly around the globe?

Yeah OP was about the federal government though. If you live in a leftist part of the nation, that's your own fault. Get ready for stupid rules.
