You can have all the gun control you want as soon as you explain how they will keep guns out of the hands of criminals while also explaining how the plan will work when after 50 years of a drug war, drugs are cheaper and more potent and easier to find than ever.

An event with hundreds of security guards and Secret Service is not allowing guns.

I think open carry should be permitted at an NRA convention - but no long guns. Just like not allowing people to walk around with umbrellas indoors.

Simple. You should at your own expense have to submit to an annual background check and mental evaluation. If you are this hellbent on owning a gun, you should have to prove to society you aren’t a threat. And if you aren’t willing to do that, frick you and the gun you want to own.
