He wants me to give up my gun when I am in places where there are not hundreds of guards to protect me. I think that using his logic if he wants to take my guns he should at his expense provide me a security detail

The secret service always works to ensure the safety of the protectee.
However most of their efforts will be directed towards crazy arse liberal democrats. They are the ones who commit mass shootings.
I don’t believe a single mass shooter has been a member of the NRA.
In short we and the secret service need to keep an eye out for the most dangerous people around...

Anybody can attend the NRA convention. Do you really think the Secret Service would allow a sitting President or Vice President to be in an enclosed area with everyone in attendance possibly being armed? Same secrurity would go for any Pres or VP, but especially for Trump-Pence considering the level of outright hatred they get from the left and threats against them. Sorry you’re too dumb to realize that the Secret Service security protocol has nothing to do with being hypocritical and everything to do with SS protecting high ranking government officials who cour be potential assassination targets for insane leftists.
