And thought I would share this MAGA moment

"Today was the first pay period of the new tax reform.

I know it's not some huge victory, but here's a small taste of MAGA.

I supervise about 20 people in a factory. Most of them make very little money, some of them living on or near the poverty line.

Tax reform was told by lefties to be a terror on lower class citizens, and was nothing but a big break for corporations. This is a load of horseshite.

I just passed out the paychecks, and I had everyone open their checks for I could lead them to water. The media certainly won't point it out, but everyone of them saw a reduction in federal taxes taken out, resulting in a higher net pay. Every single one of my employees saw an increase today, and I felt it necessary to educate them on why that happened.

I have one guy working for me today who is a total "never Trumper". He knows little to nothing of politics, so he just repeats the nonsense he's absorbed on Facebook or whatever. Even he couldn't find anything negative to say about Trump today."

My employee asked me today why her check had $55 more dollars in it this week. I said you can thank president Trump that. She said no. I said well you can send that money to me if you want. She said hell no!

The beauty of this is...once you give the money back, its real hard to take it away.

Trump has created an ironclad political issue.

Probably his maid. They’re allowed to be dumb as long as they clean well.

while i think this story is bullshite

it will be funny to see the responses from the far Left

you're going to get some version of "this is what fascists/capitalists do...they give crumbs to employees to silence their discontent" or something. the crux of the argument is going to be that by allowing people to keep more of their money (they'll say "give" though), they are worse off because, ultimately, the collective loses money

Sounds like you work at a shitty factory if most of the employees live on or near the poverty line.

Sorry not directed at you. I thought it was your story. But my point is still valid.

The pay where I work ( flipping burgers) isn't great, but the perks of walking home smelling like dehydrated onions and taking home all the moldy buns I want are sweet. The extra $1.17 today was nice too !

Jazzbo - If you're really working fast food stay the course. I put myself through college working at McDonald's and can empathize walking home smelling like onions. I worked my arse off at McDonalds but I didn't work there forever. Work hard and keep your eyes peeled for the next opportunity.

If you apply the same work ethic at a new job that you have utilize when working fast food you WILL go far in life. It worked out for me and can for you.
