One country can have all the folks on the extreme right, another can have all the folks on the extreme left. Those 2 countries will be doomed from the get go.
The rest of us can be country #3. Once #1 and #2 go south, you can't ever move to country #3. All these split up scenarios are obviously not happening, so why not have 1 more not going to happen scenario.

Any new independent country composed of some states of the USA will be immediately invaded militarily by the USA.
The USA would not invade an ally of China. As such, if this newly independent country were an ally of China, the USA would not invade.
The USA is a big bully that only beats up on weaklings. The USA would not frick with an ally of China.
IMHO, this is the only way that secession could work.

I agree with her. I know I have absolutely no desire to peacefully coexist with left wingers anymore under any circumstances. I don't see them as a political entity, they have become more of a creepy cult like people I don't want anything to do with.
We need to find a way to amicably divide the country and get away from them, we have no common interests anymore and would just be better off going our separate ways. They've just become too weird to deal with honestly

Silverman is a genius suggesting we split up into 2 different countries . But why limit it to 2? Let’s create 10, or 25, or even 50 independent states each governed by their own leaders who can make up their own laws and constitutions. 50 allied states with a limited central government consisting of representatives from each of the 50 allies. We could have open borders and free trade and military alliances. No kings or tyranny or any one person or party that thinks they can rule over the others.

Do it. We will take ND down to TX and every oil lease in the US. Stop flowing gas and natural gas to the coasts and redirect everything to LNG. See how NY survives the winter without electricity or heating oil.

And it need not be a violent and hostile split but an amicable and mutually agreed upon separation. Indeed, I think more and more rational people rightly recognize that it is the divide and conquer stratagem of the UniParty® that is leading this nation to internecine warfare.
The fear will be put forth that Texans will start settling trade disputes with Californians by waging a trade war or New Mexico will settle a border dispute with Utah with an invasion. It is an absurd dystopian fantasy propagated by our overlords in Washington who use the Red and Blue State cultural divide to consolidate their own base of power.
The arrangement will instead be a mutual agreement to allow Texans to settle the hot social button issues that so divide us (abortion, “trans” rights, pandemic response, etc..) as they so desire and for Californians to likewise do the same. We could call it, oh, I don’t know, Federalism?

But I am 100% all-in on the balkanization of the US , or an amicable split into two separate nations.
China would definitely inevitably take over liberal country, but we would be well prepared to ward them off if necessary. Mutually assured destruction is a good deterrent.
Plus, I'd be thrilled to see the liberals all GTFO of conservative states to live in their liberal utopias like California and New York...
