If Democrats would focus on their traditional issues, like Universal Healthcare, farmers, unions, etc, they would be in a lot better shape. They have ignored their traditional issues and tried to expand their tent by embracing LGBTQ, open borders, and anti-semites. Instead of expanding their tent, it has contracted, as traditional Dem voters are abandoning them.

This isn't true. The Democrats are very open about what their vision is. What he means is that they don't have a bullshite alternative vision to put forward so that people stop noticing their actual vision

Here's the problem. There may have been a time when Democrats actually liked the actual human beings in unions and farming but that time has passed. They openly hate that kind of people now.
