Bernie Sanders stumped in Salem, New Hampshire and told a crowd of liberal dolts that he would raise taxes on income over $29,000 to fund a government health care takeover — and the libs cheered.

This "For all" means ANY and EVERYBODY with in our borders.

What we will do is have a 4% tax on income exempting the first $29,000,” Bernie said to cheers.

“You’re better at arithmetic than I am,” Bernie said. “Because what that means is if you are that average family in the middle who makes $60,000 a year, that means we’re gonna tax you on $31,000 at 4%.”[/quote]

That's an additional tax.

Warm and fuzzy feelings my Stalinist friends??

Someone who can do math better than Bernie can probably tell you how far short that comes assuming earnings are static with those raised taxes rather than assuming a Laffer curve.

My guess is that they’re still short by billions, annually.

The best part is he will open all the borders as well. That way the U.S. taxpayers can go ahead and find the whole world.

People cheered because they would pay this easily. If my math is correct 4% of 31,000 is 1,240$. If you think people would not pay this to have health care your crazy.

Now on to the problem I have with this. If the country heads in this direction they need to tax everyone at the same rate even poor people because they will use hospitalization more than most. Everyone needs a shoe in the game.

We pay a tax for every damn thing here and now people act like it's a problem. Give me a break.

I would say most on the board would say this has always been a problem. We pay too much federal tax. It wasn’t intended to be this large. Federal government was meant to handle defense, foreign policy and regulate interstate commerce (including the Post Office).

By the way, there is not 1 damn thing that taxes covers 100% for me. Same will be true here. Fed fricks up everything.

Idiots don't realize that Medicare for all actually means crappy healthcare for all. If you have private insurance now, your healthcare will turn to crap.

Of course they did.
If he had said we have to eliminate 3/4’s of the world’s population to save the planet, they would have also cheered, and not one of them would have thought for an instant that some of the 3/4’s would include them!

I don’t think families of 4 living on 60k can find a 100 a month “easily”. That’s a weeks groceries they won’t have. Over an 18 year span, that’s a child’s college fund.

I think Walter Mondale is the only presidential candidate in my lifetime to promise an across the board tax increase.

Bernie's precious little ego is the only reason he's in this one.

He's old enough to where he could just fall over dead. I wish that it would happen.

Sanders is a nut job. He is exactly the kind of person leftist look to for advice; especially young leftists.
