Okay, 5. Can you name 5?
I don't know a single full time worker for any business anywhere that doesn't already get this.

If they can pass a law now to give guaranteed vacation in an amount that the vast majority already have, they can more easily increase that amount, and/or give more to certain types of workers in the future. That’s how they operate. Acquiesce to the principle now so they can abuse it in the future.

Probably going to hide a rider in there somewhere.

I already have 4 weeks of vacation.
However, I'm straight commission, so not paid if I'm not working
nothing drove me more crazy than putting in PTO when i was straight commission.

I'd imagine that 99% of full time employees already get 2 weeks vacation.

Plus they have plenty of downtime in the Winter months. How about the very small operations that has two employees. So there's a whole month where you staff is cut in half.

Chamber of Commerce will quash this like a roach.

Back when I worked for the Canadians we started with two weeks off. It maxed at 5 weeks after 20 years and you could take multiple weeks off at a time for a true vacation. We also got all of the Canadian and American holidays off. That was pretty awesome.
I get 5 weeks plus a day for my birthday but they use it for the Friday after Thanksgiving. I can only roll 7 days and never “use” all my time off so start the year with 33 days every year.

Right. You are fixing a problem that doesn't exist.
And adding bureaucracy.
For example, at some businesses you have a pool of leave that you can use for vacation and sick leave. Does this screw with that? Now a bunch of lawyers will make a bunch of money to figure that out, while consultants will help companies stay in compliance with federal law.
Just so elected officials can say they "did something."

10+ year and you get 21 PTO days at my company
That sucks. I started off with 21 days at my hospital.
