are there many who will comply out of fear (especially supposed gun owners who are staunch democrats) a la covid? Certainly. But there will be millions who won't. Then what? Do they dissolve the 1st, 4th and 5th amendments and a hundred years of precedent and turn millions of local leos into brown shirt tyrants while we know where those officers and their family members live?
that's it. the 2nd is the last straw.
