Our wages for our labor is forcefully stolen from us, and sent to foreigners who didn't earn it, who will also further dillute our representation in the government, preventing us from redressing our grievences and righteous indignation on this matter.

Left out the part where they also reduce working class wages two fold. They work for cheaper and then the Feds continue issuing dollars so they can impose taxes thru inflation for the middle class.

The only place an illegal should be transported is back to their country of origin.

State Dept is shipping them all over the country. There was a group who came through here a couple weeks ago headed toward a small village, and they had escorts representing the State Dept. Probably contracted through a non profit.

From here on out I'll simply walk pass those bell ringing bastards without even giving them the time of day!
We're paying already, whether we like it or not...like always, it's on the taxpayers!

Think about how many Americans they could be helping with those same funds.

If you haven’t stopped giving to them then you are the problem.

They went woke a while ago.

Yet the Catholics will be in here quick fast in the morning ignoring this. The NGOs are horrible, shitty organizations. They suck on every continent I've seen them.

None are worse than the Israeli ones, who tirelessly flood hostile third world trash into Europe.

Read Deuteronomy 28. You have a misguided view of Christianity. Unfortunately so do most others. It is easy to look at the immigration issue through the most basic, emotional bumper sticker lens. But when you think critically about it, and at a deeper level it is completely un-Christian.

For one, SA and other non-profits are recieving funds that have been violently taken from Americans. Yes, taxes are a violent act, if you don't pay them, men with high powered rifles eventually show up at your door. And then redistributing those funds to people who aren't even citizens that should theoretically benefit from the tax redistribution.

We are also promised a citizen controlled government, that has to act upon our consent. However the government can suppress our outrage and ability to redress these grievences, by dilluting our vote with non-cotizens. This is not Christian, this is called colonization. We are not being represented by a government of the citizens, that is called a tyranny. That is not Christian.

That is all without even mentioning the cartel, human trafficking, and fentanyl issue that this open border creates. That does not sound Christian. And people coming here with false promises of things that are not in law. They are coming here against the law, with hopes of citenzry which is not a legal process. They are lying to these people, and that is bearing false witness. Not Christian.

you're just looking for confirmation of your bias. these immigrants are being manipulated for monetary gain. dont bring scripture to me bc i know it better than you do. satan can make a better argument than your feeble attempt. you are clueless today and will be for the rest of your life.

Friend,

Helping a friend in need is our calling. I would like to see a purely biblical argument that would suggest what the beautiful Salvation Army is doing is wrong. There are both macro arguments for helping aliens in a foreign land, i.e. the narratives of Israel in Egypt or Babylon, succinctly put as "Do not mistreat or oppress a foreigner, for you were foreigners in Egypt," as well as micro arguments from the teachings of Jesus and St. Paul, e.g. "love your neighbor as yourself."

A biblical argument that encourages the followers of Christ not to help those in need by providing them food and shelter is tenuous at best and the ones I have seen are grounded in political rhetoric rather than the Word of God. Such arguments are secular and anti-Christian, placing nation, pride, and security ahead of faith in the God of creation, the God who loves and taught us to love sacrificially, even unto death. The spirit of Satan leads to fear, rejection, and hatred of the other. The spirit of Christ leads to fellowship with, service to, and love of the other, without counting any cost because that is what Christ did and that is what Christ taught us to do.

TulaneLSU

My brother in Christ,

I am fully supportive of immigrants as our Bible calls us to be throughout scripture.

For if you truly amend your ways and your doings, if you truly act justly one with another, if you do not oppress the alien, the orphan, and the widow, or shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not go after other gods to your own hurt, then I will dwell with you in this place, in the land that I gave of old to your ancestors forever and ever.
Jeremiah 7:5-7

You shall allot it as an inheritance for yourselves and for the aliens who reside among you and have begotten children among you. They shall be to you as citizens of Israel; with you they shall be allotted an inheritance among the tribes of Israel.
Ezekiel 47:22

Contribute to the needs of the saints; extend hospitality to strangers.
Romans 12:13

Let mutual love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it. Remember those who are in prison, as though you were in prison with them; those who are being tortured, as though you yourselves were being tortured.
Hebrews 13:1-3

I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.
Matthew 25:35

There is an irrefutable call by the Bible for us to show kindness to the stranger and the alien.

However, the Bible also says:

Obey the government, for God is the One who has put it there. There is no government anywhere that God has not placed in power. So those who refuse to obey the law of the land are refusing to obey God, and punishment will follow.
Romans 13:1-2

Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people.
Titus 3:1-2

While I take an extremely libertarian view on 90% of politics, my faith must guide my beliefs. Immigration to the United States legally and obeying the laws is not a mystery shrouded and hidden from the masses. It is a clear and laid out process, however poor and bureaucratic as it may be.

Your post is implying that we should emphasize grace in the light of willful disobedience to the government in a way that does not force us to forsake our faith. As Paul says, "Do I sin more, so that grace may abound? May it never be?"

To go to a purely political argument on the grounds, immigration without a firm foundation, vetting, or immediate status/taxing/cultural realigning puts unnecessary and impossible strains on set up systems built for and paid by American Citizenry. You can have compassion and welfare. You can have an open border. But you can't have both.

Yours,
3nOut
