Time for a special value added tax for college and professionall coaches of an additional 25% payable IRS to pay for social justice causes.

But it still bothers you?

because coaches love socialism, it is in their ego. They are the benevolent dictator in their dreams.

Just because you don't share political beliefs? You should probably see a therapist about that.

This.

That’s why I’m disappointed. The man has said on multiple occasions that he doesn’t keep up with national politics. He only keeps up with those things that can help his program. Attaching his name to a letter like this helps him in recruiting. I doubt he very seriously understands the issue itself.

That is very dangerous IMHO.

Were folks this disappointed when Coach Bryant integrated the football team?

Yep, this letter by Saban is straight up pandering to the segment he targets most during recruiting. Nothing more to it than that.

What a stupid idiotic response. Equating opposition to this ridiculous voting process change Bill to opposing equal treatment of people based on immutable characteristics is low and disgusting.

This comparison is as bad as Joe Biden calling anyone opposing this insane bill to Bull Conner or Jefferson Davis. In fact, it's exactly as horrible and egregious.

You're a dipshit that should reconsider posting again. This is not even in the same universe as segregation policy. Maybe learn how to read and then actually read the bill.

You're using the same Marxist language every left politician uses now, trying to fear monger and intimidate people into their control trap by attacking people's sense of morality using absolutist language.

No, we're not bad people because we oppose you. You don't define what bad or good is anyways, so even if you think people that oppose anything on the left are evil, it means nothing. Leftists are moral relativistic ultimately.

Can you name me just one example from the last election cycle where a black person was denied the vote? It’s a little different from segregation you fatuous nincompoop.

Why should we come to Bama Coach?
"Because it's more than football. I'm fighting for your Civil Rights."

That's all he cares about.

BS. Something is wrong if after all the national championships and drafted NFL players the sawed-off little bastard has to stoop this low. Stay in your damn lane, Nick.

I've never been in favor of this being a voting "rights" issue. It's always been about access, and yes there are access barriers that exist, and need to be fixed without the need for radical wish list reforms that liberals want.

You think a disabled or elderly person likes standing in line for hours on end?

Glad we took the natty from that prick.

In all seriousness, he probably did it for recruiting reasons. He can show that he is really fighting for black voting rights (whatever that means).

I doubt Saban has done much intense study into what all is contained in this bill. He was probably asked to support the right to vote, and that's what he did without diving deeper into what this bill contains. That's not the way one should go about supporting causes, but I also don't know that his signing of this letter is as political as it seems.

The man seems to stay pretty quiet politically, so its hard to lump him into the far left based on this and the other minor political activities he has engaged in over the years.
