re: 'Rust' armorer breaks silence, blames producers for unsafe conditions

It just seems natural to want your armorer to be the most skilled, most trained, and most knowledge person on set regarding weapons. Hell, it should almost be a requirement for the armorer to be a NRA member, veteran, retired LEO, etc...
Who the hell hires that thing and thinks, "we are all safe now" with her on set?

Someone who has absolutely no ideas about weapons and weapon safety.
So, Alec Baldwin.
So, Alec Baldwin.

In their statement, her attorneys seemingly shifted the blame away from the set’s armorer to a larger conversation about the resources she was given by producers to ensure the set was safe and up to protocol standards.
The only resource you need for gun safety is a fricking brain.

The NRA could've made an awesome troll of this situation by offering free lessons to all of Hollyweird

The attorneys went on to state that the armorer herself has never had an accidental discharge of a firearm on set. However, they admitted that two took place on "Rust" that were not her fault.
"The first one on this set was the prop master and the second one was a stunt man after Hannah informed him his gun was hot with blanks," they said.
Wow. She is throwing EVERYONE under the bus.
I guess she only takes responsibility if she shoots the gun herself?

She is getting hung out to dry for a death. You think she gives a frick about covering up for everyone else at this moment?
Once a criminal knows his buddies are going to kill him, flipping becomes an easy decision.

Did he call her a fat little pig while doing it?

If you had a clue and had been paying attention you'd know that the LWNJ media has already been throwing everyone but Baldwin under the bus. Their desperation to protect that piece if shite is laughable.

She will lose because Baldwin can hire better lawyers than she can.

I used to tip her when she went on stage....
Lots of folks want Alex B arrested, but because he is who he is and this is hollywood... I foresee a big deal over this and people start making new gun legislation.

You don't have to have ever held a gun to be an NRA member. I think you mean NRA certifications like gun safety and instructor.

If she's an armorer I'm a fricking astronaut.
Posted on 10/29/21 at 10:34 am to Major Dutch Schaefer
Because of the low budget, she didn't have time to see if the real gun she put into hands of an actor had live rounds in it.

Guarantee she lists her pronouns on her social media accounts. That should count for something, right?

That daffy bitch is not an armorer in any sense of the word, and Baldwin is the daffy bitch who hired her.
