Hold your popcorn boys! The Ukrainians just annihilated the flagship Russian cruiser in the Black Sea! Ship reportedly listed immediately, and is sinking or has already sunk!

Sweet, sounds like Ukraine can handle their own shite.

They have an aircraft carrier that practically has to be towed around while it billows black smoke like Mount St. Helen.
You might think what a piece of junk. But it has light speed.
The Russians have some good and dangerous submarines but otherwise their navy isn’t much of a threat.

Sorta surprised we haven’t seen more of this type thing with the steady influx of weapons to the Ukraine. They may have not had long range surface based anti ship weapons when it started but it would be one of the top things on my “wish” list when requesting military equipment.
A 300 mile range would blanket most of operational area for Russia in the Black Sea or Sea of Azov. Will be real interesting to see if we have more of this happening. I guess a lot of this will be tied to location Intel and how much we are going to give to the Ukrainians to pinpoint ships to attack.

Russians are admitting most of this so it’s not propaganda.
They said the crew “fully evacuated”

In a world where there are videos of everything, don’t believe anything you don’t watch and half of what you do….

Russian crew was transmitting Morse code to base, and it all of a sudden came to an end. Indicating the ship is now resting on the bottom of the Black Sea. Destroying a Russian cruiser is the equivalent to sinking an American Aircraft Carrier

I think this was suppose to be the flagship for this operation as well. From a pure command and control standpoint this would be at a min a supreme pain in the arse from an operations perspective and makes me curious how the Ukrainians k we which ship to target…

Is this legit or is this more Ghost of Kyiv type news?
I’ve checked several Russian news sources, including those that are anti Putin, and don’t see anything about this yet.
Maybe it’s just not reported yet.

Appears pretty modern. As ruined Russian equipment mounts at what point does a small tactical nuke become seriously considered.

I know the Black Sea has been mined like a mofo. There are numerous reports confirming such. The Turks spend a lot of time removing and disarming mines from the Sea.

Russians have said a fire on board set off munitions which caused severe damage and the crew fully evacuated.
So it’s sitting on the bottom of the ocean with missle holes in it.

Since the Ukrainians seem to have the situation well in hand we don't need to send any of our people at all

Quite a feat, even for the CIA and SOG.

Maybe the French special forces sank it like a Greenpeace boat.
