3 of the 4 are reasonable but I only think 2 of the 4 are realistic. Even though they probably should I just don't see Ukraine agreeing to give land to Russia that they don't currently occupy.

Ukraine is in an unwinnable war. Spend less time worrying about Putin and his balls and figure out a way to end the war. Yes it sucks russia has all the leverage. Doesn’t change the fact the Russia has all of the leverage. No need to lose one more Ukrainian life.
The bullet points in the OP were largely reasonable, with the exception of the demand that Ukraine basically disarm itself.

But demands that NATO not base troops on ITS OWN SOIL (e.g. Finland, Norway, Estonia, etc.) and that Russia dictate the size of NATO armies? Please. Putin is not being serious. He is fricking with the West.

I've seen the Ukraine uniforms. They're not as cool as the Nazi's.

It sounds very similar to requiring Ukraine to surrender...

No chance this would be agreed to.

[quote] - No NATO membership for Ukraine - No NATO "peacekeepers" in Ukraine - Ukraine is denazified/demilitarised - 4 Donbass regions recognised as Russian territories plus Crimea[/quote

I don’t think NATO wants Ukraine any time soon.

No NATO peacekeeper, fine. Who will be the peacekeepers.

Ukraine is denazified? I guess Russia does this.
Ukraine is demilitarized. So Ukrsine surrenders?

Russia gets four Oblasts including territory the couldn’t take? That’s selling out Ukrainians to Russia.

What is your recommended solution?

They never have an answer. They would just want to continue to fund this war and if that escalated to American men dying that’s okay because these people are willing to blow the world up cause Russian bad

It’s a start… if true but that’s all it is….. A start…. Which is why Trump is so important to the process if the EU wants peace.

I could live with that but Russia definitely is just taking a break and retooling. Throw in that Ukraine is eligible for NATO membership if they invade again

In other words, exactly what Russia has said it wanted from the very beginning.

I remember it differently as Russia tried to take Kyiv. They wanted the entire country.
