Russia has been very quiet. They know the pendulum has swung right.

I think Zalensky, if he doesn't get his way, is going to try and taunt Putin into an attack on a Kiev site, like today's attack of Russia Black Seas HQ. Putin knows:
But I expect something major in Kiev to get blown to shite, if Zelensky doesn't get his way. He'll try to set up the blame on Putin.
Putin knows if he did something like that now, he'll frick up the turn of the tide. Am I off?

I don’t know why Russia hasn’t blown his plane out of the sky over the Atlantic in international waters.

I hope the folks in the American spy plane off the Odessa coast have great life insurance coverage

Yes.

Putin attacks wherever he can. He doesn’t require being taunted to launch a missile or drone swarm.

Where else would blame be put other than the person running the show over there?

I don't think Putin will be suckered or baited into anything. I think he assumes the US will keep this conflict going, and I think he's looking for a way to reach a decisive victory without prompting NATO entry. I think - just a wild guess - I think that will mean an encirclement of Kiev. Not a siege, not seizing the city, just an encirclement. That plus complete destruction of the Ukrainian military is as close to checkmate as you can get without creating such a catastrophe or outrage that NATO feels it must enter theater.

Putin is reading the tea leaves and know Ukraine doesn’t have popular support outside the Beltway

I don’t think Russia is capable of encircling Kiev or destroying the Ukrainian military at this point, at least by conventional means. It was a distinct possibility had they fully mobilized prior to invading but that time has long since passed. That was a colossal misreading of their own capabilities and how they thought they could be welcomed by the Ukrainian people.

They tried Kiev once. Don't see them trying again anytime soon.

They can get to Kiev. Remember they still have hundreds of thousands in reserve to the north in Belarus. That force is 100% on combat power. They are not on reset / refit from battle. Encirclement, hammer & anvil...they can do it. They did make mistakes when they first went in - but they haven't repeated them.
The Nuland-Graham cartel might push for NATO entry into Crimea, which of course would escalate.

putin is bleeding the USA dry by keeping the conflict going because “as long as it takes” FJB will continue to pump american money and arms to POS zelensky.
putin is in no hurry. time is on his side. poland recently backed off on more aid to ukraine. others will follow.
only the warhawks in the US support this BS war effort.

I haven't heard this from any source, where are you getting it from? If Russia has hundreds of thousands of fully fit combat-ready reserves sitting north of Ukraine, that would certainly be a major game changer.

How? There's no way for them to get planes over the part of the atlantic they'd have to be in without us knowing it because of the support planes that would be required to get them there and back. And if they did try it, they'd never see the F-22 cap till there's missiles coming at them. Then they'd disappear again to laugh themselves silly watching the Russians trying to escape pretty much certain death.

How does a poor nation bleed a rich nation by spending significantly more capital than the rich nation?

If the Pentagon is in control of the Russian war machine that would be a surprise to me. But sure, if they were in control like that I’d put the blame there. Where else would it go?

I believe Putin is getting ready for us to put ground troops in the ground.

Putin could have already leveled Kiev. Why, I must ask, has he not?
