Are you insinuating that ukr/europe doesn’t need time to rebuild arms?

Russia has stayed in the war thanks to munitions from North Korea. When your factories cannot produce enough weapons to fight and have to rely on a 3rd world country for supplies, it is time to get out.

Don't be surprised if NATO countries are selling arms to Russia via a ME country.

Putin is obsessed with Russian history. He's 72 and doesn't want his Ukraine invasion to go down as a massive mistake (which he now realizes it is). He will only make a deal that allows him to declare some sort of victory. OTOH, the rest of Russia's leaders don't care how Putin goes down in history. They want to end the mess.

Until papers are signed it's just Lucy and Charlie Brown playing football.

This reminds me of when Lenin said the capitalists(West) will sell him the rope to hang themselves.

Trump has given Putin until Friday to accept a deal. I've also read there have been recent incursions of drones into the Baltics and Romania from Russian sources or satellites (Belarus). These are actually Article 5 incursions and NATO countries don't quite know how to respond. I think Trump has conveyed to Russia it's time to knock that off also.

And if a peace deal is not made Odesa is next to fall as Russia squeezes it from Transnistria and Kherson. Then Ukraine's access to the Black Sea is totally cut off.

Russia couldn’t even accomplish that with its army rested and at peak strength and Ukraine without western weapons.

Ummm …. he did promise he would solve it in 24 hours.. no one asked him to.. it was his campaign promise..

Most people did not expect it but judge a person by what he does and not what he says.. here are two examples of the 53 times he publicly promised it..

I do not recall Melania promising and describing eating that horse.. especially 53 times ..

“March 4, 2023. Speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference in National Harbor, Maryland.

“Before I even arrive at the Oval Office, I will have the disastrous war between Russia and Ukraine settled. It will be settled quickly. Quickly. I will get the problem solved and I will get it solved in rapid order and it will take me no longer than one day. I know exactly what to say to each of them.”

March 25, 2023. Rally in Waco, Texas.

“And before I even arrive at the Oval Office, shortly after I win the presidency, I will have the disastrous war between Russia and Ukraine settled.” And: “So when I say ‘end it,’ I’m going to get a settlement very quickly. And I know both people, and you can get it very, very quickly. You can only do it through the presidency, but you control the money coming in, coming out. You can get that. I will have that settlement done within 24 hours.”

Response to fltech culinary example. Not tmcgin

It's a scam. Putin has no reason to end the war at this time. He is not losing anything at this point.

What Trump should do is tell Putin, if you don't end this war today, we are going to directly take crimea back and if you retaliate we will take back everything else you seized in Ukraine. This is on top of economic sanctions to all you oil purchasers.

The majority of ukranians polled are willing to give up the land for peace, and that poll did not include those in the occupied oblasts which I am certain would vote to become part of Russia.

cargo pants is persona non grata at this point. Trump can release all the info on the stolen money he has taken from the dying troops and the people will Mussolini him and that shopaholic wife.

I wouldnt be surprised Trump held off on the weapons and cash for that short period making zelensky scared the gravy train would stop and he became careless with what he was stealing.....and now Trump has the evidence to hang him literally and figuratively.

ukraine has been a country for 33 years so your map shows that the only ethnic population is Russian, there is no such thing as an ethnic ukranian.

So you agree Ukraine is a lost cause. They rely totally on other countries to supply weapons AND logistics while most of their men have fled the country.
