The fact that MJ Fox is being discussed in a thread about comments on Robin Williams death... kind of telling huh..

It's demonstrative... it shows how far Zach will stoop to defend Rush Limbaugh, and thus why his defenses in THIS thread of Rush's latest piece of vileness should be taken with a GIANT grain of skepticism.

Frankly, I can't fathom why he'd have such an emotional investment in that gasbag.

Limbaugh is a chickenshit coward.. How he still has a show is beyond me, a cult of backward Americans must be keeping his irrelevant voice alive

It sure seems like more liberals on this board listen to Rush than conservatives

If Limbaugh made any statements poking fun at MJF or the disease or MJF's affliction
He never poked fun at MJF. He claimed he over-acted. He also said immediately afterward.

"So I will bigly, hugely admit that I was wrong, and I will apologize to Michael J Fox, if I am wrong in characterizing his behavior on this commercial as an act, especially since people are telling me they have seen him this way on other interviews and in other television appearances".

And later issued the full apology...

At least he is willing to admit when he's wrong, unlike our OP....

Very simple. The MSM is both pathetically partisan, and pervasive. A large swath of the public is fed-up. So they turn to a source like Limbaugh as the counter. It's the price we all pay for enabling duplicity in presentation of the news.

Oh I'm sure we're all guilty of a little hypocrisy now and then.

But what the OP is positing is absolutely false. It's been proven over and over again.

Limbaugh was not saying because Williams was a Leftist that was the reason for the suicide. He's saying that a certain philosophy of a "dark world" may influence the way people look at problems and deal with them.

I mean you can tease a statement to the very bare bones and get what you want out of it.

And his main concern was that the suicide would be glorified, romanticized, and that would lead to copycat suicides. Which has been known to happen.

Lemme splain something to you about Parkinson's, Tuba. Since you are obviously totally ignorant of the disease. My brother has Parkinsons. My golfing partner has Parkinsons. They both had brain surgery in the same month by the same surgeon. I posted it on this board when it happened. Look it up. On a scale of 1-10, being 1= normal and 10 = vegetable; My brother moved from a 7 to a 6. My golf partner moved from a 4 to a 3. Parkinsons does not have 'good days' and 'bad days.' You are not a 5 on M,W,F and a 9 on T,Th,Sat. Michael J. Fox was acting. He's an actor. He can't be a 9 on TV and a 2 the next day. Rush called him on it. Rush was right.

Yea this just isn't true. Let me guess, you heard Rush say it though, amirite??

Correct!

But you should probably clarify which part(s) you're referencing.

Or you can do like the OP in the Kentucky parents thread, not worry about any facts but just keep thundering on...

No, it hasn't.

You're contradicting yourself. The "dark" world, according to Rush, is that of the "political left".

That's laughable. His main concern, as it always is, is to rant against the left.

Sorry Rex.

You don't do discernment or nuance very well.

MM has told you what to think, and no evidence to the contrary will sway your opinion.

Congratulations on another post that has yet become another multi-day phenomena.

You are the Master.

Gee, that's funny. Rush's biggest advocate in this thread says I couldn't know what I'm talking about because I DON'T. The lot of you are as disjointed as ever.

There wouldn't be enough years in a lifetime for Rex to admit all the times he's been wrong. Everything he says or does is wrong. You would think he would learn, but he's proven that he's incapable of learning anything. No one has been on the wrong side of history on this board like our little Rexy. Not even John Edwards made him question his beliefs.

None of this fluff/character assignation/Alinsky 101/he said-she said bs matters one whit. Rush Limbaugh is the de facto LEADER of the Conservative/Constitutional Freedom Ideology in this Nation. And there is nothing short of Rush's own highly unlikely implosion that will change this. He'll be a thorn in the side of the Left until he takes his last breath; and it's highly likely that his most flamboyant indictments of Utopian delusion will last long after he does.
