Arizona had always had completely mail in ballots no?

79% of voters in Arizona in the 2018 were mail in.

I don’t think it’s unreasonable to think even more would have with the pandemic

There really isn’t anything to see here though.

A state that has ~80% mail in votes prior to a pandemic is not surprising to have even more mail in votes after a pandemic

A big order for ballots or machines to mail to stuff envelopes to mail out said ballots was ordered (difficult to tell) for a state that had 80% mail in voting PRIOR to Covid. Not a tough thing to guess in March 2020 that more people in Arizona would want mail ballots than 2018 (a midterm election prior to the pandemic). Also notably no proof was given. I’m just supposed to believe it.

Because it’s given a nefarious tone by a tweet I’m supposed to automatically assume it was nefarious.

You seem to be the expert on this issue in this thread, so can you explain what the issue is? There's zero information in the OP.

March 2020

Do you even use a calendar?

So let me gamer this straight, a government agency in Arizona orders a shite load of equipment solely for the purpose of (mass) mail in ballots.

The Post Office changes protocol to seemingly hide those changes.

The government officials (agency), seeming to operate at PEAK proficiency (during the infancy of Covid no less), don’t want to tell the world about their efficiency.

The Post Office was bailed out in perpetuity by the Dems.

Yet you say everything was 100% normal…during March of 2020?

The stat may be accurate, but everything else is the accused assuring you they're not guilty.
Their actions alone, and/or lack thereof, post-election say otherwise.

They actually ordered in December of 2019. They had 5 ballot envelope stuffing machines prior to their order. They ordered 11 additional.

They’re not a government agency. They’re one of the largest ballot printing operations in the US.

Arizona isn’t their only client.

See Georgia.

For decades Republicans championed the practice in order to capitalize on the large/growing population of older voters. Early and mail-in voting was an advantage for Republicans. That changed in 2020 after Trump urged his supporters to not trust the system and vote in person on election day. 2020 ended up being the first time in AZ history that Dems did better than Republicans with early/mail-in voting.

I think the biggest problem with mail-in voting in AZ is you can put yourself permanently on a list to have a ballot mailed to you, and nobody remembers to change their address on their voter registration when they move. There are rental properties here that receive 7-8 ballots for past tenants. That's a lot of ballots to frick around with.
