You think ALL the fathers of the children killed in Gaza were rapist and/or murderers?

I would be interested in what she thinks about October 7. I am guessing she would say that those were despicable atrocities (as would I).

But she didn’t, she said Israel committed crimes. Full stop.

And I like how they bring up South Africa. How’s that going?

This was written after oct 7 2023 and they bring up 1980s SA but no mention of October 7.

You do the math. These people would rob you of your land and slit your children’s throats while they sleep. There is a reason why they won’t say what Palestine did on October 7th was wrong.

I am going by all that's publicly available. The only specific thing that was mentioned was the op-ed. I took the time to read that, which I'm sure you didn't.

The Feds moved her away from her lawyer quickly enough that I am guessing we will never know what she is even alleged to have done, much less what she did.

I'm bothering to spend time on this not to oppose the revocation of the privilege of studying in the USA. I'm just bothered by the propaganda of "opposition to Israeli policy equals hatred of Jews and/or support for terrorists."

It was ONE piece of writing that contained ZERO hate for Jews and ZERO support for terrorist organizations.

Anyhow...thanks for the discussion. I was just curious what others thought. We see things differently. This is the USA. As citizens, we're still allowed to do that...and write about it.

Cheers

Oct 7th happens.

There is then a world wide uprising supporting the actions of oct 7 and wanting to gas and kill the Jews.

This woman writes her op ed against Israel after Palestine raped and murdered Israelis. And she says it’s Israel who are the criminals.

Dude, it’s pretty fricking obvious. If the shoe fits. Which is why some of you are rightfully called Hamas supporters.

On one hand, I at Rubio flexing like this.

On the other, it's kind of horrifying. Imagine AOC deporting an Israeli student for being "pro-genocide." Or, using the standards in the article, let's say you have a cousin from overseas studying here or it's an NCAA athlete from overseas (common in tennis). They make fun of Zelensky and criticize our support for Ukraine. President Kamala's Secretary of State Victoria Nuland combs social media and deports him and others for being "lunatics" who "create a ruckus" by supporting that terrorist Putin. I bet this board would see that differently.

I don't think this has much to do with the U.S. and it's more about another country.

Please answer this question: can someone oppose the policies of the state of Israel and NOT hate Jews?

No.

The Israeli power structure (whatever that may be) has so successfully conflated criticism of Israel with anti-semitism, that to criticize the actions of America's real 51st state is the same as firing up the gas chambers again.

Despite Israel's enormous regional and American political power, they still have everyone convinced they're victims. The entire Israeli identity is wrapped up in victimhood and Americans still get suckered by it.

You need to repost that twat about the demands made of Columbia with regard to Israel and what the Trump administration now considers "hate speech".

That shite is disturbing man.

This is the center of our disagreement. You think the actions of October 7 are attributable to "Palestine" and, therefore that ALL Palestinians are subject to whatever punishment (including death) that Israel (with US support) decides to inflict.

I think the despicable acts of October 7 were carried out by a terrorist organization, Hamas. A very small percentage of Palestinians committed October 7. I think the collective punishment of tens of thousands of Palestinians who had nothing to do with October 7 and have no control over Hamas is wrong.

Of course, I realize that some collateral civilian deaths would be expected due to the nature of the pursuit of Hamas. The complete destruction of most of Gaza and the tens of thousands of innocents killed, however, is too much in my view. That doesn't mean I hate Jews or simp for terrorists.
