"Two of my kids are doing study abroad next year. I hope the other nations around the world don't reciprocate by pulling their student visas."
Remind your kids that they are not in their own country, to mind their manners, stay out of the politics, and not to be assholes. They should be fine.

Imagine being a visitor going to school in America, eating Chipotle' and drinking your Starbucks. Then you post on your socical media "F*ck America! Allah Snackbar!" Then the feds show up and send you packing back home to the hellhole you came from. That's gotta sting.

As for the getting through part, I mostly come to this site to check my own understanding of the truth and learn from others...particularly those with different views. I'm rarely interested in persuading people.
