At this point, Rubio is definitely a considerable step above Vance. JD needs a lot more seasoning before he's possibly ready to step into the big chair.
It took Marco a decade to get there after his run in '16. I do think it'll be very interesting to see his VP pick. Has to be someone with ties to the Midwest. Marco should do well enough everywhere else.

Maybe we can get a Vance/Rubio ticket but I'd be even happier with a Rubio/Vance ticket honestly. Not that Vance would go for that.
I am wanting POTUS Rubio with SecState Vance - better position to establish some credibility in foreign policy.
Love both of them - we are awash in great candidates - Dems got nuttin but political hacks with nothing.

Can he stay in the VP slot for more than 2 terms?
He can, but he's not going to want that.

I don’t understand this reasoning. You prefer presidents that have spent more time in DC among the establishment?
To be fair, looking back at the shite newcomer Trump had to fend off in term one... maybe having someone that's hip to the swamp a bit isn't the worst idea.

Don't know where ya'll been. Rubio's been killing it since he stepped in. He's consistently killed it in the Cabinet meetings, and you can tell Trump things the world of him.
To take that unflinching polish, quick wit, and battle-hardness and turn it against the Chuck Schumers, Hakeem Jefferies and other Dem clowns?
Sign me up. I'm watching every minute of that.

He’s super smart and funny. And he speaks with authority.

I would take Rubio and Zeldin in a New York minute. Lee Zeldin is an articulate guy like Marco Rubio and they would be a dynamic team.

He is far and away the best cabinet member in terms of speaking for the Administration.
I have zero problems with Marco for 8 years.
He'll be great for our constitutional freedoms.

I don’t trust him at all.
I think after the Trump era is gone he will be back to his gang of six immigration policies and right back to the neocon wing of the gop.
He’s basically getting the neocon agenda anyway right now.

I'm still on the fence with Rubio. Has he vastly exceeded my expectations? Sure. But, I just have this sneaking suspicion that as soon as Daddy Trump exits the stage he'll revert to the invertebrate he's always been. Remember, he was one of Turtle's boys. I may be wrong. I hope so.
