I’m sure someone cares what he thinks, idk who, but world’s a big place.

Took the words right off of my keyboard. This must be putting a dent in Paul Family revenue. Probably had to make changes to Christmas plans.

I am genuinely astounded that there appears to be a large numbers of posters on this forum who believe the primary reason for this pressure campaign on Maduro is about stopping the flow of illicit drugs into this country.

If Paul’s assessment is true, then Paul should support an Impeachment trial.
And if the whole operation is based on regime change and there are no drugs involved, Maduro can just stop the boats, remove any justification for attacks and remain in office.
Both things can be true. Changing a regime that pushes drugs and Marxism via a strategy which harms America is a legitimate impetus for action. Trump bombed Iran while Israel killed the Mullah’s military operatives.
Paul is heading towards joining MTG and Massie in irrelevance if he don’t get in line and stop being a loose cannon.

These are not flagged vessels you old coot. They are essentially pirate ships..
True.
An unflagged vessel is subject to the law of any nation state.
Been that way since 1609 and recognized by the USSC in 1836.

That’s a dumb comparison.
List alcohol poisoning deaths and you’ll have something. But it won’t make the point you want to make.

Republican voters chose John McCain and Mitt Romney over Ron Paul. They believed they hated us for our freedom. They believed the Patriot Act was meant to protect us. They believed Bush and Cheney were constitutional conservatives. Why should anyone believe a goddamn thing they say about this?

If there’s a person on the planet who is clueless when it comes to foreign policy it’s Ron Paul

Doesn't it make you wonder why he would be interested in this particularly and at this particular time?
Surely it couldn't be to fire up his base in preparation for regime change against a government that won't deal its vast oil supply in U.S. dollars, thus threatening the worth and power of the Deep State.
Nah, couldn't be that. Must be those dirty narco-terrorists.
ETA: We learned nothing from 9/11 and the subsequent 20-plus years in the Middle East.

The fact you’re trolling, and have so many fans and upvotes is a testament to this boards TDS, but on the other side of the spectrum.
Like, to any principled conservative who follows the constitution, Trump is committing illegal acts, but on a lesser scale than Obama drone striking American citizens. Anyone who criticized Obama tactics should clearly criticize those of Trump’s, but many are looking through their red colored glasses on this subject.

The blowback from this drug boat deal makes the case for the return of privateering.
You heard me.
Privateering.
You may be thinking to yourself but wait SMR ... privateering was banned by the Declaration of Paris in 1856, what gives?
Guess who never signed-on to that treaty ...
Thats right, the good ol USA.
Privateering; bring it back ... it's time.
Trump ... call me.
