Here are the annual figures for drug overdose deaths:
2020: 91,799 deaths
2021: 106,699 deaths
2022: 107,941 deaths
2023: Approximately 105,000 deaths

The coke in the Caribbean is going to Trinidad (and then possibly Europe!). There is no evidence of fent on those boats. Fent comes from Mexico and China. If they want to say China sends fent to Venezuela, then make that case.
Also, as a few people have said on here, there are worse countries when it comes to producing/shipping coke.

Everything published about the drug running uses words like "mainly" and "mostly." There is no report out there saying all drug boats are trafficking to europe. There is no report out there saying they "only" carry cocaine.
If trump successfully stopped the flow from china through mexico, where is the proof, or merely some evidence, that china didn't start moving it through venezuela? Venezuela is desperate right now. They'll go for any help they can get.

I am genuinely astounded that there appears to be a large numbers of posters on this forum who believe the primary reason for this pressure campaign on Maduro is about stopping the flow of illicit drugs into this country.

I'm not convinced that "the GOAT" truly understands the fentanyl threat we have coming by sea.
Does he really believe those cigarette boats are coming to see us for a social visit? Why were they offshore pointed in our direction in the first place?
