It allowed him to showcase that he was actually a logical alternative to what they were peddling and had provided us for 30 plus years. It's where he moved from the pure sideshow realm in my view.
I'm not sure what he has to show now. I don't mean that to advocate that he NOT participate in them, though.

And that can be the 2nd debate. Trump is a former Prez and current leader of the race...bigely, so he has the right to sit the "wild card" debate out.
Vivek vs Desantis is probably the only thing that "could" draw me to watch, but I'm sure highlight clips would suffice. Desantis wants Trump so everybody, including him, can focus on and go after Trump, instead of himself.
Trump sitting the first one out is best for the whole process imo. Let the wannabe Presidents shake themselves out, before an actual President steps in.

Dude...no one is saying he won't debate eventually, its the first one with all the rift raft. Question should be why is Desantis afraid to be the top of the debate bill, and take on all the ones below him.

You should probably look up the dates on the attack threads against Casey DeSantis and whatever threads you are referring to.
