DeSantis shouldn't have a role in the administration. He should continue doing what he is doing as governor of Florida.

Ron took his name off the board the day he decided to run against Trump. Y’all understand that, right? It wasn’t like the others that got in. He was specifically told not to run and he did anyway. Then he got nasty.

He’s a great governor but I don’t trust him anymore. He seems easily persuaded - like whomever got to him and got him to run. That’s enough for me.

Trump has been stabbed in the back by former acolytes enough already.

Hopefully Grady Judd when the time comes. Dems might start offing themselves if that happens.

Every selection he makes someone will come out and complain and try to put Republicans against each other. Same playbook everyone.

It was one of the dumbest political moves of all time. I said it then and Trump’s election now cements it. Ron will be a Trump ally but he destroyed his political future outside of Florida.

Since he has no hope nationally hopefully he runs for Florida Governor again in 2030 after he sits out the required 4 years.

I posted many links to that during the primaries. The RonBots here at the time didn''t want to hear it and defended Christina Pushaw.

So maybe there are some still petty enough to be mad about Susie and Trump STILL. Let the kiddies play with their ball in the loser sandbox

Boy your right. Sounds like a damn rebel. Someone who does his own thing and don't like to be told what to think. Thank God we elected a...hey wait a minute.

I don't understand this tweet. If she was a leaker wouldn't of that been a problem during the campaign?

So Ron dogs her for being a leaker. But who leaked THIS conversation here? Seems pretty leaky.

you are new here so you don't know the history. DeSantis supporters on this site prefer to be called "Ron Bots".

If you change the title of this thread to "Ron bots hate Susie Wiles" it will go to 20 pages by 9pm.

This is what I suspect to... but during the primaries they had some believers that refused to see Ron just sitting away in his Gov Mansion. Just waiting to pounce with his lame Karl Rove Top Gov commercials to challenge Trump while Trump's home was raided by the FBI

He is a good Gov but so was Jeb! kinda. Karma is a bitch.

Just stop with this crap. Trump has one more term and we are going to be looking seriously at DeSantis to potentially carry the movement forward,.,,, probably soon after the midterms.

Supreme Court Justice Ron DeSantis has a nice ring.

Not in the administration but would put a principled conservative with a legal background in a position to contribute for the next 30 years or so.

The "don't trust him ever again in national politics" thing is so dumb, but I don't think it'll hold up. DeSantis will sink or swim in future presidential consideration based on his improvement as a candidate and who else is in the mix.

Now, what happens in the intervening period with the inevitable MAGA/conservative/GOP coalition is a different story and obviously that could impact who is pitted against who and who is/isn't viable.
