Don’t be scared brah. That’s what the major parties want you to do. If we have enough free thinkers, they won’t have this influence to make you continue to settle for their trash candidates.

I proudly did not vote for McCain or Romney. Went hard right. Hopefully the GOP got the message when the Libertarian Party broke the 1 million vote mark (1st time ever) in 2012.

He'll do what McCain did. Conservative every sixth year.

Romney is so full of piss and vinegar because Trump got to be president and he didn't and Trump has beaten him in every aspect of life.

Sorry, I'm too old to be scared of very much.

I did agree with a lot of what Ross Perot said, but as a Vietnam vet, with names of former friends on "THE WALL", I am proud that I did not vote for him, and help elect the womanizing draft dodger. Clinton's election was without my help.

I said this would happen several times. Either Romney just wants one term and will Jeff Flake the voters of Utah or he will change his tune. The voters of Utah love them some Trump and Romney lives off his handling of the Olympics and his name. Frick Romney

We all know they will scream the whistle blower has protections and they will never allow it.
I believe, the "whistleblower" is the ONLY witness that matters. His testimony is the central core of this entire charade. Of COURSE the Dems don't want him to testify. Dershowitz will shred him to pieces and the entire case will collapse. If they want witnesses, Mitch needs to be firm that this little deep state a-hole gets subpeona'd or no witnesses, period.

The Democrats don't control the Senate. If they call Eric Ciaramella he WILL have to comply.

So 72 with a bit more than 4 years left in his term? He has limited upside and shelf life. I'm not going to pay attention to him.

Romney is the biggest prick in the Senate. He provided the blueprint for the ACA while Massachusetts governor and then ran for Senate in a state where he had hardly lived after failing in multiple Presidential campaigns. I am so proud I didn't vote for this Mormon cuck in 2012.

What I am not understanding is seeing the republicans are in the majority how is it the democrats can dictate what witnesses get called? Something just doesn't seem right here

They should have known Romney would do this. Maybe he can get beat the primary in his next election. We are going to find out if Trump is part of the swamp when he is no longer in the White House. If he is not part of the swamp he will be helping to get these rhinos primaried.

Trump is holding his 'trump card' back; the evidentiary FACT that Romney has Family who had monetary interest in the whole Ukraine, Tax Money kickback scheme. If or when the people of Utah learn this - through a Trump Tweet - then Romney's high-minded virtue signaling goes south. Along with his stellar *reputation*.

Without 4 Republicans jumping over to vote with Democrats for the various trial procedure votes, Democrats won't be able to dictate a thing other than names on a wishlist. I haven't heard anything that leads me to believe the Dems could get 4 on their side. Maybe 1 or 2.

How about they call Romney to the stand with Kerry, Graham, Pelosi, Obama, and others with family ties and connections to corrupt Ukraine?
