Any day now I guess.

This thread was needed. Thanks

Is this the part where Mueller pressures Stone to keep his mouth shut about Obama spies?
Posted on 6/19/18 at 10:19 am to Decatur
Wait wait wait, let me guess, he's gonna flip and sing like a canary and Trump is done we finally got him!

I think Stone was trying to get out in front of this and control the narrative. If he gets indicted, I doubt it will be anytime soon.

The news is already out. The new spy has been divulged by Stone. The indictment by Mueller will conceal nothing. Stone is not a political novice like GP.

Not sure he broke any laws. It's not illegal for a guy to offer him information from his standpoint and according to his testimony, he told the guy in no uncertain terms to frick off.

I don't see how it's illegal, even if he accepted.
How is accepting dirt on a political opponent a crime?
Just what was the dossier supposed to be? Who paid for that?

I think he's talking about a rant Stone posted today on his website which includes:
quote:
"The Special Counsel seems determined to frame me for some bogus offense both to silence me as a critic of their investigation and for political motives and to induce me to testify against the President in some way. This I will not do."

There is a potential for conspiracy to commit a hacking. They also might have him for making false statements.
But as some other poster said, Stone is not a novice. I bet his has some sort of cover.

They will indict every Trump member for making even a minor FBI lying charge but will let every Dem skate for the same charge. Fricking double standard

Are you suggesting that the gov't not enforce its laws?

For what?
There will not be an indictment with a GOP Congress. He lied to them not the FBI

Square this circle...
We have chat transcripts of FBI agents interviewing Hillary’s people saying that they clearly perjured themself in the same interview yet no charges were filed.
OTOH, we have people like Flynn who were determined to be truthful in interviews yet get charged with lying to the FBI.
Got an explanation for this besides political bias / double standard?

No I'm just pointing out the double standards between the Clinton and Trump investigations. It's clear

Start throwing the book at everyone caught up in the Hillary investigation for lying before you even start pointing fingers.
