Stewart recorded his own version in 98 as tribute to Ronnie Lane who wrote the tune.
He sang it originally in the studio, but thought the song was in the wrong key for him, so Wood ended up singing it for the album Oh La La.

quote:Stewart is not on that song. Ronnie Wood is singing it. Stewart made his own version of it almost 30 years later.

Who else would he be talking about?
Harry. He married a total embarrassment that they welcomed into their palace, with open arms. She immediately spit in all of their faces and began her "err'one's a racist" tour. Chuck The Inbred told him to dump her or go be an American.
She must have learned to play sexual Mozart with that wizard sleeve when she was whorin'. Harry chose poorly.

Back with Faces? was pretty good stuff.
I saw Rod Stewart and the Faces at the Warehouse in New Orleans back in 1971. Deep Purple was the opening act. Great show

Ah, I stand corrected.
I could have sworn he played guitar on that track. I guess it was Flags and Banners that he played guitar on on that album. He wasn't doing much with the band at that point. His solo career was taking off by then.

Exactly. Who gives a F what Rod Stewart say's. The British have always thought that they were better than Americans. Their bravado is fueled off the fumes of the glory of their faded empire. Their best years are behind them.

Stewart doesn’t care what we think. He already has our money.

Of course not. The US made them rich.

Oh la la, Stay With Me, Maggie May, Rhythm of My Heart. Dude has a lot of great music. Anyone saying otherwise is just lashing out because he insulted Trump. A lot of Trump defenders are every bit as silly as TDS afflicted persons.
Agreed on both points. I remember every one of my friends moms in the 90s had his CD lol and as a kid i was secretly jamming it with them.
I mean i voted for Trump both times and i dont regret it considering alternatives but the reaction to the reaction to Trump has gotten equally ridiculous. Identity politics is so damaging

For reasons that are unclear to me, the TDS crowd and a few Brits I know seem to think that Charles delivered some zingers that went over Trump's head and he "really showed him".
I watched the speech and was entertained. Charles is much more affable than I thought. At no point did I think he was trying to cleverly deliver some poignant criticism that the stupefied Trump couldn't possibly comprehend.
This take just seems like another leftist wet dream.
