From the Brits I pay attention to, they think he should have been the choice over Truss.

I guess he at least understands money

Both of which are former colonies.
So he isn't really an outsider.

Is he a Dinesh D'souza or Kamala Harris type of Indian?

I don’t care - what does matter are the macroeconomic effects (in other words how do the markets feel) if he ends up in charge
For better or worse it seems his Goldman Sachs contacts may come in handy given the dire situation in the Eurozone and specifically with UK’s pension funds / bond collapse / etc.

Not even close. The UK (especially London and surrounding areas) has allowed an enormous influx of immigrants from anywhere and everywhere via open borders. Their population and ethnic diversity is off the charts - trending towards less than 50% of London being “traditional white British/Irish” etc. just for context
(Not a judgment good or bad just facts)

He’s trained in the globalist ways is what that means.

Seems like the common sense pick, really. He was almost PM to start.

The problem with the pensions is their LDI derivatives. His tenure at Goldman and the LDI situation should be a point of interest. Altruistically, it would be great if he understands enough to fix the problem. Realistically, he may perpetuate the problem to keep lining the pockets of LDI managers like BlackRock.

More interesting if he knew Big Mike

He's paper British, so yeah, he's an outsider.

This is my optimistic take on it …
in terms of perpetuating the issue I just don’t see how can do anything without being completely destroyed as a person and public official (I.e. basically impossible).
