It might be my experience in politics that brought me to put forth the idea that if paxton was the nominee, he would lose to low T'rico.

That is left to be seen.

quote:

paxton hurts Texas because he is going to lose. I knew it would happen because the TexasGOP, and the party's rabid base have elected statewide candidates in the primaries that grow weaker and weaker in electability in the general

There is a reason for that. The GOP (Bush gang/RINO) would rather sink the ship than replace their RINO (Coryn) with someone they do not like or control. It is ridiculous to say you would not vote on this ticket which is basically a vote for talifeicko.

quote:

Texas could, not likely but could have a Dem Speaker because if they get enough Democrats elected they'll find a few Republicans willing to offer up the speakership to get back at Dan Patrick and Greg Abbott for stopping locally needed legislation

That is already in place. It is ridiculous. The GOP in Texas house has basically given the power to the Dems. [

quote]And that is going to cost us this year I still believe that we can turn it around quickly and that's why I'm ready to give up on a Senate seat so I don't lose the state.[/quote]

And that is why you and the GOP lose. The RINO must be eliminated.

he cant do anything to Texas except embarrass us

hes in the US Senate

he'll be y'all's problem

A freshman senator will accomplish nothing
in 6 years, Texas will set it right

its still a red state, just a blue year

with the 28 primary $$$ will be spent in Texas, plus with a d senator the General will be funded

we just rebuild and correct course

Call it gibberish, call it nonsense, hell call it both for all I care. We’re talking about your post there. Personally, I’m going with nonsense.

If you are as slowfanniepro says, and you have that many connections and pull in politics then I blame you. Coryn was/is a RINO and should have been primaried. He was and you are not happy about it. So, your preferred RINO is out of it you would pick the worse of 2 evils in talifrico. This is why we cannot have nice things. The dems vote in lock step. You divide if you do not get your way. I should not be surprised though, it is the way of the RINO.

LINK so I looked up this Glenn rogers. He is no longer a rep because be was easily defeated by a guy he beat 2 years before. Lost probably because he voted to impeach paxton. I noticed one of his biggest donors was dade phelan.i am glad he was run off.
