I understand you were/still have contacts in the party. But just like Rove, Bush, and Cornyn you guys are overestimating your reach.
There is a reason why John got his arse kicked like he did. The numbers indicate there were plenty of Highland Park/River Oaks votes as well for Paxton. So now they are going to vote for the Twinkie? That doesn't make sense. Why not just vote for Cornyn in the primary?

As several other people and I have tried to call your attention to it is not Republicans not voting for paxton that is the biggest issue
it's all the independents who will never vote for paxton
