I'm left-handed. I've never considered it a disability or thought right handers are somehow privileged, no matter how much it sucks trying to operate scissors. And what about those who are amphibious?

I think your post blew right by most right handers on this thread. Some of you should revisit it, all those things are annoying to a left handed person, and yes, they were purposely designed for a right handed person.

Here is a thought for you, ever watched obama sign something? He does that awkward motion with his hand where he curls it around what he is writing. You know why he does it? Same reason my teachers in elementary tried to make me do it, your writing (or signature) is supposed to lean to the right. No its not, that was invented by a right handed person, Im left handed so my writing leans to the left.....so I got unsatisfactory in writing every six weeks, but I dont sign nor write in that awkward fking way.

By the way, I too think being left handed is an advantage, just like my southern accent and blue eyes. Amazing when you are stereo typed as a dumb redneck how you can take advantage of many situations.
